Welcome to my blog about my experience as a Physical and Health Education Teacher Candidate at Westwood Middle School. Westwood has an amazing Phys Ed program with 2.5 full time PE teachers and therefore a wealth of knowledge for me to learn from. I am teaching 6/7 rotary Phys Ed and every class I see has PE 5 days out of their 6 day cycle which nowadays is nearly unheard of. I am teaching a whole unit on volleyball which I am super pumped about because next to rugby (and track), volleyball was big sport in my life.
I hope to share with you what I have gained from this experience, which I can already tell will be a great deal. Feel free to post any comments with feedback, tips, advice or what have you.
